Micro Lockdown Implemented in RW 02 Pari Island Urban Village

Micro Lockdown is currently being implemented in RW 02, Pari Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district after 24 residents at RT 02/02 were exposed to COVID-19.

Those 24 residents are currently undergoing self-isolation at home

Pari Island Urban Village Health Center (Puskesmas) Head, Sely Yuliana Sendi Manopo conveyed, two days ago there were 9 residents who were positive for COVID-19. After tracing, her side found 15 close contact residents who were also positive for COVID-19.

"Those 24 residents are currently undergoing self-isolation at home under supervision of COVID-19 Task Force and health workers. We supply vitamins and medicines for them," she explained, Monday (6/28).

Meanwhile, Pari Island Urban Village Head, Mahtum conveyed, Micro Lockdown was implemented immediately to prevent more people from being exposed to COVID-19.

"Every area that borders RW 02 area on Lancang Island is installed with large signs and banners thus people don't pass through Micro Lockdown area. We will see the future developments regarding change in status of RW 02 area," he said.
